What is the P30 Racing Band?

 IRC: 0.985 - 1.020

LOA: 30-38ft

DLR: 120-255m

Performance 30’s are a Corinthian class and will closely follow the IRC Rules, P30 Class Rule and the ethos of the Class. We have purposely kept class rules etc. extremely simple, with the intent that the Class ethos will take precedent. Sailing is primarily a ‘self policed’ sport & some onus must be placed on Skippers and Crews to ‘;play by the rules, however if needed the ‘Class Manager’ will be enforcing these values and ensuring that they are adhered to.

Admission to the class will be at the discretion of the committee.

Crew?

We encourage boats to race with no more than one crew member who is being paid to compete. Crew limitations as per your IRC certificate apply unless event sailing instructions specify otherwise.
